What you can expect

I’ll give you a brief introduction on the basics of paddling before we head out onto the water to explore the wild ecosystems. We’ll be on the lookout for all different types of wildlife including; manatees, iguanas, birds, crabs, fish, raccoons possibly even dolphins.

We’ll explore the natural wonders of the area while on our way to a small island where we take a thrilling boat ride to the famous Spandspur Island. There you will be able to relax on the beach and snorkel. Yes, snorkel even if you don't know how to swim. Everyone will wear a safety vest to keep them afloat. Also if you get nervous just stand up most areas are shallow enough to stand. Sandspur island is the ultimate shallow water snorkelling spot in Biscayne Bay.

After snorkelling you'll enjoy a delicious fresh fruit snack and drinks. Including; watermelon, cantaloupe, banana. Drinks included and totally free all you can drink; beer, hard seltzers and water.

Once finished you'll head back to shore. There is never a rush for time. Please keep in mind the manatees and dolphins we are spotting are wild animals roaming a large area. They are seen less often in the summer months. Don't worry there will still be many beautiful plants and animals to see and learn about.

Other things to note
Bring sunglasses, sun cream, a towel, a swimming suit, camera, a waterproof bag or case for your phone, and a positive attitude.

Our guide Ashley is awesome! Love her! It was not the best weather, a bit windy with strong current. For safety purpose, SUP was not an option that day. Plus visibility was low for snorkeling. However, we still had a great experience. It was a packed journey with so much to explore. Both the bus driver girl and our guide Ashley are energetic, warm and supportive. Such a fun tour! Well worth the money.

This was amazing..literally an epic trip for the family. Highlight of the time in Miami. With 3 kids 7-12. It’s like 5 things in one and all are awesome. Boat ride to a boat where you grab paddle boards or kayak. Then a paddle in the mangroves. Then a paddle across a bay. Then feeding raccoons. Then snorkeling. Then a paddle back. And another boat ride. All the time with plenty of beverages. You need to do this. Miguel and Sydney were awesome.

Overall it was good. The raccoon island is a party island with very loud music from the yachts. Can barely see any raccoons unless you’re lucky. The jungle is a little scary with lots of spiders so be careful if you are set on finding a raccoon in it. The snorkeling place is shallow so not many fish you can see besides seaweeds. But, the tourist guide is a very nice person who’s patient and generous. We got enough time kayaking around the island and the mangrove. The unlimited drink including red wine was awesome.
