Beijing West Railway Station
Your driver will pick you up from your Beijing city hotels lobby and take you to the Beijing West Railway Station. You will take the morning train to Luoyang, it takes about 3-4 hours.
Longmen Grottoes

Upon arrival, meet your friendly local tour guide at the exit of the arrival hall. Heading directly to Longmen Grottoes. Accompanied by your knowledgable tour guide to explore this UNESCO Site -The Longmen Grottoes comprise more than 2,300 caves and niches carved into the steep limestone cliffs over a 1km long stretch. Admire the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907), you will also visit the Fengxian Temple and the Wanfo Cave.
White Horse Temple

After a delicious lunch in the local restaurant, you will explore the White Horse Temple in the afternoon. The White Horse Temple, patronised in 68 CE by Emperor Ming in the Eastern Han Dynasty’s capital, is the first Buddhist temple to be built in China. Explore the halls and pavilions with your guide, hearing stories about the Buddhism history and culture.  After the tour you will be transferred to your hotel in Luoyang (Please book at your own cost)

Meet your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel, you will be transferred to Shaolin Temple directly (approx. 1.5 hours drive), on the way your tour guide will explain the related history of the Shaolin Temple, and you will enjoy the beautiful countryside view. Shaolin Temple is famous for Chinese Kungfu, first you will have a chance to witness the real Kung Fu performed by Shaolin monks. As a UNESCO Site, the Shaolin Temple was first constructed in 495 A.D. Later, Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-557) had the temple built to accommodate the Indian master Batuo. As Chinese Kungfu also originated from Shaolin Temple, it has been recognised as the origin of Chan Buddhism and the cradle of Kungfu. Accompanied by your knowledgable tour guide, you will get you know the histories and related stories about Shaolin Temple - culture, people and soul.
Xi'an
After lunch, you will be transferred to the train station for a 2 hour bullet train ride to Xi'an. Upon arrival, meet our driver at the exit of the arrival hall. You will be transferred to your hotel in Xi'an (Please book your own hotel)

Then, come to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which has been included in World Heritage List in 2014. It used to be a place for the great Tang Dynasty monk - Xuanzang to translate Sanskrit in sutras into Chinese. So it is also regarded as one of the holy places for Buddhists. You can appreciate the unique architectural style of this pagoda as well as get some information about its legend from your tour guide.
Muslim Quarter
