What you can expect

Bordeaux is mostly known for its neoclassical architecture, but the city also bears significant traces of the post-war period, characterised by massive reconstruction following modernist dogmas.
The tour will start by exploring Mériadeck district, a perfect exemple of brutalist, concrete slab urbanism right in the city centre. From there to a Corbusier-inspired fire station, this visit will bring you to iconic buildings from the 50s and 60s and a clear reading of the transformation of the city in the last 50 years.
