Welcome to the ultimate Brazilian food walking and tasting experience, guided by a Brazilian food expert! You will embark on a three-hour journey through 33 of Brazil's tastiest flavours, from meats to fruits to snacks to street food. Your goal: figure out what you like and what you don't, so you can double down on your favourite foods during your stay in Rio, and maybe even bring back some food items. For the first hour we will make our caipirinhas in our culinary studio while we taste a dozen Brazilian foods. Then, with your Brazilian food expert leading the way, we will visit a few different types of food establishments, so you can get an idea of what you might like in each of them: - a snack bar (Where you will taste a few street food items) - a juice bar (tropical fruit juices) - a bakery (Brazilian delicatessen items) - and "butequim" (Brazilian bar foods). We will walk between these places, which should be almost a mile altogether. Your food expert will provide insights into each food item's origin, uniqueness and preparation, so you can better appreciate the flavours and ingredients.
