Having picked you up from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar at 8am, we'll set off by car to the Semi Gobi Desert. This area of the Mongolian countryside is exactly as it sounds: partially arid desert but surrounded by a green mountainous backdrop.
Driving through the Mongolian steppe, we'll reach the desert. We'll then meet a local family who will tell us all about their traditional nomadic lifestyle.
Immerse yourself in desert life enjoying an hour-long camel or horse ride through the arid landscapes of the Semi Gobi, admiring the dunes and mountains of Mongolia in the most exciting way.
With renewed energy, we'll embark on a short trekking route through the dunes to get one last in-depth look at the desert landscapes, before leaving the Semi Gobi behind and heading back to Ulaanbaatar. You'll be dropped back off at your hotel for around 7 pm.
