What you can expect

Head to Silvermist Vineyards in Cape Town, where you will take in exquisite views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles. Meet the owner of the estate and taste 4 delicious local wines. Then, be entertained by the world's top percussionists in Drumstruck - a live, energetic African extravaganza of drumming, music and dance.
After you arrive at the entrance to Silvermist Estate (home to the famous La Colombe restaurant), drive up the winding mountain path to reach the Drumstruck venue, which overlooks the Constantia Valley. Here, you'll meet Gregory Louw, the owner and winemaker at Silvermist Organic Wine Estate.
Gregory will entertain you with stories about the area and his winemaking journey while you sample 4 beautiful wines, including a couple of Silvermist's organic wines. For kids and those who prefer, there is a delicious organic iced rooibos tea tasting on offer.
Then, head into the theatre, where you'll see the largest private collection of traditional Southern African musical instruments. Settle into your seats as the Drumstruck show begins.
Facilitated by some of South Africa’s top percussionists and performers, Drumstruck creates a sense of Africa that is undeniably genuine and heartfelt. You will be taken on a journey through the musical heritage of Southern Africa – from the first drum through to the newest high tech electronic drums. Each audience member is provided with their own djembe drum and gets to play and sing along with the show, sharing in the collective celebration that exemplifies African music and
culture.
After the show, you will have the opportunity to order some food or drinks at the bar and listen to live marimba music. You can also browse the curio and wine shop where you can purchase the wines you tasted earlier in the day, or an African artefact to take home with you.
