Welcome to Acetaia Gambigliani Zoccoli, one of the few remaining vinegar factories that produce ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO.
Our guided tour includes a guided visit to the Ancient Acetaia in the historic family villa, followed by a tasting of our two products: Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO (minimum 12 years of ageing) and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO Extra Old (minimum 25 years of ageing).
The visit follows the ensuing programme:
• Firstly, you will be welcomed by Mario and Giorgio Gambigliani Zoccoli, who will introduce you to the history of the family and the factory, and explain everything there is to know regarding the production and features of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO;
• Secondly, you will visit the Acetaia (vinegar cellar), located in the attic of the family Villa;
• Then, you will get the chance to taste our two products: Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO (minimum 12 years of ageing) and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO Extra Old (minimum 25 years of ageing). After the tasting a wide arrange of local delicacies will be served to be paired with our vinegar, such as ricotta and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, focaccia, omelettes and more.
To meet the needs of our visitors, we also offer the possibility to purchase our vinegar directly at the villa or have it shipped to their home address.
