Get picked up from your hotel in Puerto Escondido and travel to the Zapotalito, where you board a small boat piloted by a local guide. Cruise through the gentle waterways, reflecting the greens off tropical foliage along the banks, learn about Oaxaca's many species of crocodiles at a reptile farm, and see exotic birds, including the majestic tiger heron.
