Your friendly Art Teacher will greets you at the Entrance of Hilton Beijing Wangfujing Hotel Lobby. Choose between Morning Class, Afternoon Class or Evening Class to suit your schedule. This course is not only help you learn Chinese calligraphy, but also the wisdom of Chinese ancients Yin-yang theory to find your inner peace. There are three steps. Step 1 : Immersion Standing exercise is the basic way to help you find your inner peace and get rid of impetuous. Step 2. Correct posture for calligraphy practice Your Art Teacher will teach you how to use writing brush, the correct posture for calligraphy and the basis strock of calligraphy. Step 3. Practice Your Art Teacher will teach you Qin Dynasty Calligraphy , from easy to difficult, from simple to complex, you will finish your own calligraphy work on a fancy paper. At last, admire your art work with joy. Get to know Chinese Culture in depth by learning Calligraphy with your Excellent Art Teacher.

This was an awesome way to dip into the cultural side of Beijing.Learning they ways of writing.He was nice and he explained happiness and taught me and my children something new!!! It was fun and challenging. I say if you need an activity book with him.Its something great for children and adults❣️Unforgettable experience and he teaches you something you’ll always remember❣️One Love One heart❣️

Richard gave us a great lesson in calligraphy. He was very patient with us and taught us all the tricks for making great Chinese calligraphy art! He even gave us a tour later of a buddhist monastery outside of Beijing a few weeks later. He's great teacher and a great friend! One world, one heart!

This is a great activity to do when visiting Beijing. We really enjoyed the class and got to take home a canvas with our efforts. Richard was very friendly and professional and explained the techniques very well. It was great to learn a new skill.

Richard was an incredible man to meet on our travels. He was so knowledgeable about the history of China and Calligraphy. We learnt so much from him. He made an extra effort to come and meet us at the subway and offered us some delicious tea and chat upon arrival. My husband and I left with two beautiful pieces of calligraphy “happiness” to hang in our home. Thank you for your positive, friendly and vibrant personality Richard. We had a fantastic time and would recommend this to everyone!

Richard was a kind, funny, and genuine man. We are so happy we spent our time with him to learn calligraphy. We started with the 30 min session, but extended to the 1.5 hr because we were having such am enriching experience. He served hot tea, had plenty of practice materials, and organized practice "challenges". Then, he had large red hanging ornaments for us to paint our final product on, which we got to take home as a souvenir! I highly recommend this experience for people who want a relaxing cultural experience right next to Wangfujing, in a hutong!
