Ham is part of Spanish culture and gastronomy. This delicacy has its origin in the arrival of the Romans to the Iberian Peninsula, exactly, dated in the 3rd century BC. Although it had a hiatus during the Muslim era in Spain, it has been and is one of the most consumed and marketed products in the world.

On this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit one of the best-known ham factories in Spain. From Seville, you will board a comfortable bus until you reach the Cinco Jotas Ham Warehouse. On the way, you will have the opportunity to see the pasture where the Iberian pigs that give rise to this tasty product are raised. Upon arrival at the warehouse, you will have a guided tour shared with other tourists where they will tell you about the curing process of the ham, unchanged since 1879. In its spectacular and well-preserved building, you will learn about the manufacture of this exquisite delicacy.

This type of ham is exclusive to the peninsula, coming from the Iberian pig, as well as maintaining some very distinctive characteristics. This pig is raised in the wild in wooded pastures, where it can exercise and maintain a special diet (based on acorns during the montaneraseason).
