Calahorra Tower

Start your tour at the Calahorra Tower which is on the southern side of the bridge known as Puente Romano. The purpose of this fortified tower was to protect the bridge. The building has been used for various purposes in its historical past while it currently houses a museum.
Roman Bridge

Walk on the Puente Romano (Roman arch bridge) which dates back to the starting of 1st century BC and spans across the Guadalquivir river. It is believed to have been built on a site of a previous wooden bridge, and reconstructed by the Arabs in the 8th century. Latest conservation efforts led to the restoration of this bridge in 2008.
Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos

Next, you will be visiting the fortress located in the historic centre of Cordoba known as the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos which served as one of the primary residences of the Queen of Castile and the King of Aragon.
