What you can expect

Explore southern Ireland with a day away from Dublin in County Cork. Hear the history of the famous Blarney Castle and partake in the tradition of kissing the Blarney Stone. Discover Cork’s maritime past as you tour some of the city’s highlights, including the famous harbour and island town of Cobh.

Speed through the beautiful Irish countryside travelling by train to Cork. Here, board the coach to Blarney Castle and learn about the 13th-century citadel. Seek out the Blarney Stone at the top of the fortress, hang upside down to kiss it, and as the legend goes, receive the gift of eternal eloquence.

Journey back to Cork where your guide leads you to the top sights in town, including Cobh, a port town on an island in the harbour. Famous for being the Titanic’s last stop before its infamous voyage, Cobh has a rich nautical past. It's the site from which millions of Irish people seeking new lives in America emigrated. Hop back on the train for the return trip to Dublin.

Very easy to find the check-in. As described, they're in bright yellow next to the information desk and we only needed our names to get set up. Our guide was very personable and knew quite a bit about the area and seemed genuinely interested in what brought us to Ireland. This is a great way to see some of the top tourist spots and see the beautiful countryside on the way down. Well worth the money.

The time to spend from the whole day at Blarney castle was too long . More time should be given to the visit at Cobh .

We just drove through Cork never stopped or saw anything really there. Spent about 2ish hours in blarney which could have been way longer. Tour guide had a very short temper. Spent a lot of time in Cobh at a cemetery and museum which seemed kind of disappointing as I would have preferred sight seeing or more time in blarney or cork. The other guide that transported us back to Dublin, joe was amazing!
