Unlike most factories that operate on a division of labour, our facility is a rare gem where you can observe the entire process of crafting fans, from cutting and folding the special paper known as jigami to the final touches called tsuke. Creating a design pattern We'll create a draft design that will guide the fan's final look. Painting Follow your design to paint your fan. Don’t worry if you’re not an artist; you can achieve a beautiful finish by applying gold leaf. Leaf Application Choose from a variety of foils, including gold, silver, copper, and tin. Apply your favourite foil and brush it for a stunning effect. Add your name! By adding your name during the draft design stage, you'll have a custom fan featuring your name.
