We liked the timeliness of the tour and the overall comfort in the jeep. Our driver was supportive, although his English could be better. Key criticism: we find this tour to be too expensive for what it is, namely mainly driving. The safari part was nice and we got some explanations, but everything is excluded and we did not receive the promised water. Considering this, +- 148 Euro is a lot. Also, given the temperature, we would not book this tour again. Doing the safari in the morning makes sense, but doing all the temples in the hot afternoon is hardly doable. If we would book again, 2 days: one morning for safari, one morning for the temples. Finally, the restaurant for the lunch is a tourist trap. The buffet in this temperature cannot be good, and should not be offered.

Overall, a great day. Polonnaruwa is fascinating and well preserved. I also got up close with a family of elephants during the safari. There were a couple of changes to the itinerary, which were not communication. The tour was for Minneriya, and was taken to another park without being told. It worked out fine in the end, but the company/driver should be more up front about this. The driver was very nice though.
