Another Infiltration Tunnel built by North Korea! The 2nd Tunnel locate in Cherwon area. Found in the DMZ in the military demarcation line. After strenuous excavation on March 19, 1975, the second tunnel for a sudden raid of North Korea was found in the area of the Korean army. More than 30,000 soldier can move through this tunnel in an hour. 7 South Korean soldier was attacked by North Korean soldier when we discover this tunnel. The spot of the tunnel is composed of a firm granitic layer, and the total length is 3.5km in the 50m-160m underground area.

The Peace observatory locate within 2km from North Korea! The ground floor is an exhibition hall and the second floor is an observatory, allowing tourists to observe the ecosystem, fortress of Gung-Ye Castle town, Pyeonggang tableland, and Seonjeon town of North Korea in the DMZ. It is a place where you can see the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) and North Korea at a glance.
