Overview

Recipient of the TripAdvisor Badge of Excellence, this tour is arguably the best way to explore The Pearl-Qatar. Discover the island’s top attractions while indulging in its diverse and vibrant international food scene.

We'll start from the Venice inspired Qanat Quartier, specifically at the selfie spot on top of the replica Rialto bridge where you can take the best photos of the canal. Then, I'll take you for a stroll along the canal to see the beautiful colourful buildings where we'll sample one of the quaint restaurants and cafes.

Next, we'll head towards Porto Arabia, the yacht marina with towers overlooking the Arabian Gulf, the most luxurious shopping district in town, where we will try some of the most popular snacks among locals in Qatar.

From there we'll continue towards Medina Centrale, where we'll sample some more restaurants and have a traditional Arabic coffee (Gahwa).

We had a great food tour with our guide, Bassel. The food at all our stops was really enjoyable, as was our coffee stop. Bassel is very personable and knowledgeable...which made our food tour that much more enjoyable, I definitely recommend this food tour!

Very well organized, the tour guide explained a lot about the places and food (which was great btw). He was very friendly and always tried to take as us to the best available restaurants in the zone. We tried different kind of foods and had a boat ride

This was a great tour and overview of the pearl! The foods were all diverse and unique. The explanations of the area were thorough and the group was friendly and fun. Overall a very worthwhile tour! We would do it again when friends come to town!

This is a relaxed tour with plenty of tastings. I did the tour in the late afternoon which meant the photo lighting was perfect, and the boat ride during sunset was spectacular. If you haven’t adventured around The Pearl, this is a great way to do so.
