Take a leisurely ride through the Everglades National Park's 10,000-island ecosystem, where you will enjoy perfect photo opportunities of birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Stop on an uninhabited barrier island, where your Florida certified Master Naturalist guide will take you on an walk and help you discover even more photo opportunities of this impressive environment.
Your guide will be on the hunt for birds and wildlife of all types — roseate spoonbills, osprey, ibis, great blue herons, tri-color herons, snowy egrets, shore birds, and bald eagles as well as other animals like dolphins, sea turtles, manatees, and other saltwater creatures. The boat, limited to 6 passengers with comfortable seating, is a large, stable platform for birding and photography. There's even space for a camera tripod, so feel free to bring large telephoto lenses.
The Everglades Birding, Wildlife, and Photo Expedition is essentially a 2-part adventure. First, it is a boat exploration of the 10,000 islands, where you will learn about the Everglades ecosystem, its history, and rich culture. Here you are likely to encounter dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, and a plethora of different birds.
On the second part, your guide will beach the boat and take you on an stroll along one of the Everglades National Park's many uninhabited barrier islands. See the unique ecosystem up close and nab more photo opportunities.
