We will explore different locations for the work of art, etc

Funerals are special events in Ghana. The Ga people, particularly, are known for creating extraordinary fantasy coffins to celebrate funerals. They believe honouring the deceased properly ensures a joyful departure for the spirit and brings blessings to the family left behind.

The design of each coffin symbolises something significant in the person's life. For example, a coffin shaped like a fish may be used for a fisherman, while one resembling a sewing machine might represent a sewist.

The experience concludes at the nearby Artist Alliance Gallery, which features over three floors of art, sculpture, carvings, and various artefacts, including museum-quality coffins on display.
