Tour starts at 8 a.m. from your accommodation in Belgrade with a drive towards Northern Part of Serbia - Vojvodina Region.
Travelling through the Panonian Plain and Vojvodina Region you will reach Lake Palic, largest natural lake within Serbia that according to the legend was created from shepherd Paul's tears who lost his herd and therefore the water inside the lake is salty. The Lake shore is 17 km long with stunning promenade ideal for pleasant walk. During our stroll around the lake you will be able to see: Water Tower built at the beginning of 20th century in the Art Nouveau style, Big Terrace, Music Pavilion, Women's lido, etc.
Continue our tour with a short drive to Subotica. Located on the north of Republic of Serbia between two rivers, The Danube and Tisa, this unique town is undoubtedly the most beautiful Serbia city, well known of its Art Nouveau Style. Your City Tour will start with a visit to one of the most beautiful synagogues in this part of Europe - Subotica Synagogue. This stunning building will leave you breathless due to its exceptional beauty.
Unlike many European cities, the centre of Subotica is not dominated by a cathedral or a church, but by a City Hall. Because of its location, size, and ornate architecture of Hungarian Art Nouveau, the City Hall has become a landmark and the main symbol of Subotica.
Freedom Square is the main square and meeting point in Subotica. It is surrounded with National Theatre, City Library, Blue Fountain and the City Hall.
Short walk through the main pedestrian zone will take us to Raichle Family Palace. For passengers coming to Subotica by train this is the first landmark to see. Today, this astonishing palace is a home of a Gallery of Modern Art.
When our Subotica Sightseeing tour is finished you will have 1 hour free for lunch or wandering around the city by yourself.
Our Northern Serbia Trip continues with an hour drive to the charming town of Sombor. In order to feel the vibe of the city we will use a specific mean of transport - carriage, during our sightseeing tour. We will ride by the greenest street in Serbia famous for American Hackberry Tree, brought from the Mississippi Valley in 1903, Holy Trinity Square, City Hall, The Great St. Stephan's Church, etc.
