Get picked up by your tour guide at 8am from your accommodation in city centre Guilin. Set off on a scenic two-hour drive through hilly countryside and marvel at your driver's expertise in navigating the winding roads.

Arrive at Longji Terraces Scenic Area and enjoy the one-of-a-kind Long Hair Show performed by Yao Minority women in Huangluo village, which was awarded the “World's Longest Hair Village” by Guinness World Records. Famous for their long and shiny hair, the women of Huangluo cut their hair only once in their lives upon turning 18.

Have a quick lunch before moving on to the highlight of the day, the Terraces. Learn how these impressive landscaped hills have been managed by the local Zhuang Minority people for thousands of years. Marvel at the large-scale rice fields with stilted buildings set into the hillsides. Hike to the highest point for stunning views over the terraces and surrounding countryside. Cable cars are available and if the hiking is too much for you (at your own cost).

Afterwards, you will be transferred back to Guilin and dropped off at your guilin city centre hotel.
