Pass by giant saguaro cacti and look for desert wildlife. Learn about local mining history and plant and animal life from your guide. Begin with a scenic and moderately difficult hike from the tour supplier's property down to the Agua Fria river.
Once at the river, we will spend some time panning for gold and learning about the history of gold mining here in the Bradshaw Mountains. Finish the tour by making the hike back up the Agua Fria River canyon.
