What you can expect

Meet your guide at your hotel and begin your journey through the historic city of Berat. One of the most visited and unique towns in Albania, Berat is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its distinctive architecture.

First, stop at Belshi Lake, a peaceful, picturesque spot near a small town, before continuing to Berat Castle. The castle is remarkable not only for its historic significance but also for the fact that people still live within its ancient walls, in houses that have stood for centuries. Explore the fortress, which offers panoramic views of the town and houses several Byzantine churches.

Next, visit the Onufri Museum (Optional) , where you’ll be mesmerised by the stunning red and gold hues of Onufri’s sacred artwork. Afterwards, wander through the charming old quarters of Mangalemi and Gorica, where the areas are connected by the historic Gorica Bridge, spanning the serene Osumi River.
