Following the coast along the beaches of Tambaú, Manaíra and Bessa, the excursion arrives at Intermares, stopping to visit a sea turtle nesting area where this endangered species attempts to reverse the cycle. Then visit the town of Cabedelo and get a chance to swim in the sea.

Proceeding along the coast, pass the beaches of Camboinha and Formosa and reach the port town of Cabedelo to explore the Colonial Fortress of Santa Catarina, strategically positioned as the city’s primary defence against Dutch forces threatening the Portuguese rule of Brazil. Views from the walls offer postcard-worthy vistas of the ocean and beaches. You also see the official starting point of the Trans-Amazonian Highway.

The return journey includes a break for lunch as well as free time to go swimming in the sea. Don’t miss your chance to try the region’s wide variety of freshly caught seafood dishes.

Involved in a passionate climate, which only the land where the sun rises first can provide. We will still have time for a visit to the local craftsmanship, during a brief walk along the boardwalk. Afterwards, tourists return to the bus that will take them to their respective hotels.
