What you can expect

WHAT TO EXPECT

Tour will take you to discover Vietnam's most famous bay, which is recognised as a World Heritage Site. Thanks to the best ecosystem with Asia's largest limestone island ecosystem, Halong Bay is favoured with spectacular landscapes and wonderful tropical weather. About 165 km from Hanoi, Ha Long Bay is one of the must-see destinations that you don't want to miss when coming to Vietnam. This worthy experience from the tour certainly gives you a lot of really interesting moments and experiences.

ITINERARY IN DETAIL

08:30 - 09:00: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter and depart for Halong Bay. There will be 1 stop on the Hanoi - Halong Express way.

11:45 - 12:00: Arrive Tuan Chau, welcome aboard, and safety briefing. The cruise will take you on a 6 hour journey via 2 day-sleeper boat cruise route which renowned for its striking, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Cock Fighting and Thumb, while enjoying Vietnamese traditional lunch with seafood on the cruise.

13:45 - 14:00: Arrive Bo Hon archipelago, you will visit Surprising Cave to see a lot of stalagmites and stalactites with different shapes of sea life, then go kayaking or sit on bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon. We then visit Titov Island with a sandy beach adjacent to the towering limestone mountain with an excellent backdrop of the Bay and climb up Titov Peak for a panoramic view of the bay like paradise.

16:30: Return the Cruise back towards the Harbour. There is a lot of time for sunbathing on the upper deck with music, enjoy great fun of group touring fellows among world iconic natural scenery and enjoy Sunset party on Boat with Red wine, French fried, cakes, fruits.

17:45 - 18:00: Disembark for a bus ride back to Hanoi, short break on the way.

20:30 - 21:00: Drop off at your hotel/stay, trip ends.

This was a fantastic, well organised trip and our guide Ling was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had a superb day in the sun and I would highly recommend this tour. The staff - from admin to limo bus and boat crew are what make the trip special because of the care they show to their customers- having fun is paramount for them!

The tour guide was excellent. It is better to enjoy the cruise on Halong Bay with some clouds rather than clear skies and not too much sunshine. There is a hotel pickup in the Old Quarter, so if there are too many people, the arrival at Halong Bay will be delayed and the return to Hanoi will also be delayed.

Excellent trip, definitely a must do when in Vietnam. Our tour guide was excellent, well informed and very funny. Food was nice on board. The entire day was very enjoyable and hassle free, and we had booked at short notice.

What made a difference between and ordinary tour and a tour to remember was the superb quality of our tour guide Lily. A petite lady but one who ensured that her thirty tourists were well chaperoned and had an enjoyable time. Lily had a good sense of humor and was well organised which made an ordinary tour extraordinary. The tour itself was enjoyable and well worth the money, Recommended as a must do experience when visiting Ha Noi..

Ha Long Bay is amazing how even wasn’t a very sunny day. Felt a little pushed as the boat ‘driver’ expected to be tipped while out on the water and when someone tried to give too little he was quite angry and refused. The cave is great, steps are walkable is easily ( I’m not fit). The guide was great, knowledgeable, he looked after us. The food on the big boat that took us to Ha Long Bay was nice but cleanliness of glasses was questionable. The driver seem a little crazy on the way back, in the evening, but I suppose to be driving a big bus especially in Hanoi traffic... you’ll have to be. Overall great, recommend, expect long way to get there and to come back.
