It is a channel of high vertical walls that extends for approximately five kilometres, in a winding path whose width varies between 10 and 15 metres. In this run the waters coming from the Comalí (Honduras) and Tapacalí rivers, which join to form the extensive Coco River. In its stony ground, the calm current is interrupted by rocky formations that give rise to seven or eight pools with semi-stagnant waters, creating an environment full of life, with plants and fish.
