As the most widely recognised and respected rating in the world, an Open Water Diver certificate will grant you the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. Almost anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certificate.

Learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques over 3 days. Complete 5 pool dives and knowledge development sessions, and then take 4 open water dives off the coast of Gran Canaria. The programmes are performance based and proceed according to how you master the course skills so that you can work at a pace comfortable for you.
