The Private Day Retreat starts with a mindful walk or hike in nature. As we will discover a unique spot on the island, where you will be invited to slow down, ground yourself and take in the beauty of your surroundings.
We will continue with a gentle Hatha Yoga flow, where you will learn the basics and benefits of this practice. Explore poses, breathing techniques and mindfulness that ensure a balanced body and mind. All levels are welcome!
In addition to Hatha Yoga, you will also experience the benefits of Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation technique that allows you to reduce stress, release anxiety or worry and promote a deep state of relaxation.
This is followed by a Sound Bath in which you are immersed in the soothing sounds and vibrations of handmade Tibetan Singing Bowls. Studies have shown that the vibrations activate theta brain waves and stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, your body's relaxation mode. As a result, feel-good chemicals are released, pain signals are dampened and a sense of deep relaxation, balance and well-being is created.
We will conclude the retreat with a gratitude practise, using a profound technique that can help improve apology, forgiveness, gratitude, and love. Altogether, this retreat ensures that you will leave the session with new perspectives and fully recharged!
