What you can expect

Upon arrival, get changed into your school uniform (gakuran or sailor suit) and begin with homeroom class, led by a real homeroom teacher.

Next, it's time for your Japanese language class. Learn how to do calligraphy on a hanetsuki paddle which you will be able to take home as a souvenir before you have a traditional school lunch.

In the afternoon, you'll have social studies and physical education classes. Experience the Japanese sports festival Undokai and take part in ninja activities. Afterwards, it's time for cleaning, a Japanese school custom.

Graduate from the school and receive your diploma before you finish up the day with a traditional Japanese festival with games, food, and sake.
