What you can expect

Meet your guide on the central site of the former ghetto in Krakow, from where the inhabitants were deported to the places of extermination during the war. Take a short tram ride to reach the site left over from one of these camps. Hear a guide about the history of the Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp, which was opened in 1940 as a forced labour camp and then converted into a concentration camp in 1941.
On a walking tour, see different parts of the camp and learn about the intense work done in the military quarries and factories. Get an in-depth insight into what life was like in the camp.
Explore the life of Oskar Schindler and hear how the camp was portrayed in the 1993 film “Schindler's List”. Visit a replica of the camp built under the direction of Steven Spielberg in the Liban Quarry, a few hundred metres away.
Pay your respects at the several memorials dedicated to the victims of Nazism.
