Witness the lush beauty of the Krka National Park on a day trip from Split. Discover beautiful waterfalls, bird-filled wetlands, and a stunningly scenic setting. You will explore the famous Skradinski Buk – a unique travertine barrier beautifully sculptured by natural action. Depart from Split and travel towards the park. We will drive on the highway for better road comfort. Upon arrival, I will give You extra water, fruit and snacks so that you can have something to refresh yourself while you look around the beautiful Krka. Enjoy free time to stroll the well-organized trails and wander through the lush green forests at your own pace. Hike to a small collection of renovated stone houses, workshops, and other authentic buildings, including a watermill demonstrating sustainable village life from centuries ago.
When you go down to the Krka river, there will be educational maps where you can get more information about the Krka itself, its flora and fauna and all the species that live there. Take a rest on the benches on the path and enjoy the forest of playful water that hits the rocks mercilessly. Relax under the canopy of large trees or sit by the river streams and watch the water rushing by. Enjoy the marked trails that will lead you through the beautiful Krka park, to the smaller and larger waterfalls. Numerous gardens of plants, trees, grass, fish, birds… For all this beauty you will have 3 hours of walking and enjoying the beautiful memories of your trip to Croatia.
