Activity itinerary

You can enjoy the tea ceremony experience while wearing a kimono in this programme. First, choose a kimono with your favourite colour and pattern from the rich kimono collection in Nishijin, Kyoto. We will help you with your hair set before putting on your kimono. After that, you will have a simple photo shoot and then enjoy the tea ceremony experience with a master. Our tea room has been used for three generations. It is located near Daitokuji Temple, a place related to Japanese tea culture. It's a bit old, but we'll do our best to relieve your fatigue from your trip to Japan. First, a tea master who has studied tea ceremonies for 50 years will show you the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. After having a cup of tea with seasonal sweets, we will explain the historical background of the tea ceremony. Of course, in the end, you can experience making tea yourself. Why don't you share a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime time with the tea master?
