After an amazing transfer by 4×4 on tracks in poor condition, we arrive at the Casa del Monte, 4265 feet (1,300 metres) above the sea. From here, with helmets and torches, we discover a spectacular environment full of lush vegetation along the old canal.
You will walk along one of the most special paths on the island (PR-LP 6), which crosses thirteen narrow tunnels until it reaches the Marcos and Cordero springs. But first, you have to cross the water tunnel, where no one escapes a refreshing shower.
Please note that this hike is unsuitable for everyone as there is a large negative slope, so good physical condition is very important.
