Our journey begins as we pedal towards Las Salinas de Janubio, an area steeped in tradition and salt production dating back to 1895. Witness the timeless art of traditional salt production that continues to this day.
Continuing along the coast, we encounter Los Hervideros, where, with a stroke of luck, we may witness the sea's fierce waves colliding with lava caves, creating mesmerising water clouds—a spectacle to behold. Our route then leads us to Charco Verde or the Green Lagoon, nestled in the Volcanoes Natural Park alongside the charming fishing village of The Gulf.
A delightful break awaits in the picturesque town of Yaiza, where we recharge with coffee and a slice of homemade cake in the old school turned art gallery and cafeteria. Energised, we head north towards La Geria, a protected natural space known for its ingenious cultivation of Malvasía wine amidst challenging conditions.
The journey continues through the awe-inspiring Timanfaya National Park, a testament to nature's spectacle shaped by volcanic eruptions. Descending towards Playa Blanca, the tour concludes, allowing you to unwind by stretching your legs in the crystal-clear waters of the town.
