Gran Canaria is known as the miniature continent. On this tour we will explore the centre and the high mountains of the island, as well as the Dunes of Maspalomas. The absolutely stunning views during the tour will captivate you. We will visit inland viewpoints, charming towns such as Ingenio or Tejeda, as one of the most beautiful towns in Spain.
This tour starts from Las Palmas GC capital picking up a few clients and heading south to pick up a few more clients in Playa del Ingles or Maspalomas.
From there we will go to the viewpoint of the Dunes of Maspalomas nature reserve, a protected space that will transport you to the Sahara desert. We will continue to visit Fataga village, known as the thousands paml valley and its lookout to the Tirajana Caulder. From this valley we will drive up to the centre of Gran Canaria, direction to Tejeda. But before quick stop in Tunte, famous location for being the starting point for the St. James pilgrim route. Finally we will arrive to Tejeda village, place at 1100 mts. of sea level, the most spectacular enclaves in the Canary Islands, cited by Miguel de Unamuno as “Petrified Storm”. There we will rest, time for lunch and then return to the city, but before that we will stop at the town of Santa Brígida, capital of the island in 1599 during the Dutch occupation of Pieter Van der Does
