Just after sundown, hop into a boat on Luminous Lagoon and discover the magical, bright blue glow it emits. From a knowledgeable tour guide, learn about bioluminescence and see for yourself why this lagoon's conditions are optimal for iridescent life beneath its surface.

Step on board the boat and gaze in amazement at the mesmerising bright blue hue of the lagoon's ripples. Slight movements disturb microorganisms called dinoflagellates, which emit this light when agitated.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy a Jamaican rum cocktail or a non-alcoholic drink as your guide explains the glowing lagoon's rare phosphorescent microbes and the science behind bioluminescence.
