The tour will start from 2:00pm, so if you finish changing kimono earlier, please feel free to walk around gion area, but please be at the meeting point by 1:45pm. What you can expect

Get a sense of the lifestyle of a Maiko (an apprentice Geisha of Kyoto) and a Geisha (known as Geiko in Kyoto) by meeting them in person, and learn the rich history of the renowned Geiko district (Kagai) in Kyoto. Sample matcha green tea during a traditional tea ceremony.

After meeting your local guide, set off on a tour through the picturesque streets of the Gion area. Immerse yourself in the rich Geisha culture, traditions, and history, and venture off the beaten track to discover the charm of historic areas.

Next, head to a special private house in Gion, where you will be welcomed by Maiko and Geikowill, who make matcha and serve it to you. Marvel at the demonstration of the tea ceremony performed by Geiko. Then, attend a cherished and beloved performance that is part of traditional Japanese culture.

Finally, enjoy some time to chat with the Maiko and get a group photo.
