What you can expect

Escape the hustle and bustle of Malagan with a day trip to 2 charming and authentic local villages. Take in panoramic views of the Mediterranean Coast, explore their charming streets, and feast on wine and tapas along the way.

Begin your experience with a thrilling drive up the coast and through the picturesque Axarquia region. Make your first stop at Frigiliana. Soak up the atmospheric traditional Andalusian architecture and stroll through its cobbled streets. Admire its whitewashed houses as you spend 2 hours of free time.

Stare down at the glittering Mediterranean Sea from the villages view point, then browse its centre for local crafts at the local market. Reward yourself after your walk by pausing for a small tasting of local wine and a tapa.

Travel to your second stop of Nerja. Make the most of the 3 hours to see sights like the Balcony of Europe and the gorgeous blue flag-listed Burriana Beach. Eat in a traditional Andalusian restaurant (own expense) to savour the regional flavours, before heading back to the bus for the return journey to Malaga.
