This is an excellent tour for all ages, including singles and families. First, we explore the Al Thakira nature reserve, an hour away from Doha. Then, on low tides, we head out to the mangrove bay and explore a large channel several kilometres from our launch site under good conditions. Under higher tides, we explore different winding channels of the Al Thakira mangroves taking in the views of wildlife life, including reef egrets, terns, herons, and enjoy an occasional jumping fish. Finally, we usually stop at the local beach to relax. Our biology specialist will share his love of this tremendous Qatari ecosystem and deliver an exciting ecology and biology speech.
