What you can expect

Embark on an excursion to one of the highest points in Switzerland that surrounds you with the spectacle of the Alps. This journey by coach, cable car and Rotair gondola brings you to the high mountain glaciers of Mount Titlis, where you can admire some of Europe's greatest peaks around you.

After a drive from Zurich to the resort town of Engelberg, board the cable car for a 45-minute ride that takes you from the green valley below into high alpine glaciers. The revolving Rotair gondola gives you a spectacular view of the perpetual snow and ice as you ride up to the 10,000-foot (3,000-m) summit overlooking the Swiss Alps.

During your stay on the mountain, you can visit the Ice Grotto and, weather permitting, ride the modern Ice Flyer chairlift for some incredible views into the glacial crevasses and ice falls. Cross the Titlis Cliff Walk, Europe's highest suspension bridge, before you enjoy the downhill cable car ride.

On your way back to Zurich, stop in the picturesque city of Lucerne in the foothills of the Alps. During your leisure time here, spend some time exploring the winding streets and scenic green parks as well as the Lion Monument and the beautiful Chapel Bridge.

It was raining all day and too windy and snowing at the mountain. But we enjoyed our trip. Our driver and guide did a great job. We weren’t able to make it all the way to the top of the mountain. But we made it to the first station and was able to enjoy it. We had fun snow tubing and sledding. We also had extra time in Lucerne. And as a bonus we got a small refund for missing the the gondola ride to the top. Thanks.

It was a unique experience. Michael, the pilot of the bus who had no choice but to get into the guide's shoes since our guide couldn't make it to the trip, was awesome and made the whole experience an amazing one. He made the trip so funny and special and he definitly deserves a shout out for his spectacular job. Everything was beautiful: the views, the ride, the hot chocolate at the tip of the mountain, the adrenaline you feel up there, Lucern, the lion, the bridge, etc... It is definitly one of the most gorgeous places in the world.

Awful, we booked a tour which then changed whilst we were on the coach to go to Mount Pilatus instead. This was subsidised by a 20 CHF voucher which we were told we could spend on souvenirs or food. As we had already bought food with us as it was stated “not included” we tried to use the voucher in the souvenir shop, which was rejected. We spent 3 hours at this mountain and there were no activities, whereas the original tour we booked mentioned a Glacier, Ice Grotto and other activities. This was a wasted day, we requested a partial refund which was also rejected.
