Activity itinerary

A typical tour includes stops at four high-caliber shops: Kobe Bead Factory, Utamaduni Craft Centre, Maasai Market, and Golden Eagle Art Gallery. Start your tour with a visit to Kobe Bead Factory. Learn about the shop’s initiative to empower women in the community as they craft beads from clay to finished items in the shop. Various women from different parts of the country benefit from this fantastic idea. They guide you step-by-step through the process of their crafts. Then, head to the Utamaduni Craft Centre, a treasure trove of African handicrafts, antiques, and art. Include a visit to this unique craft house in your day to visit baby elephants and feed giraffes. After shopping, stop for refreshments at the large, beautiful garden restaurant, and if you are a bird lover, you will be entertained by the many exotic birds. Make sure to include Utamaduni in your Kenya holiday itinerary. Then, visit the Golden Eagle Art Gallery, one of the craft centers, to see men working on wood carvings and see various wooden handicrafts. Finally, stop at the Maasai Market, which moves around the city on different days of the week, usually operating from 8 am to 6 pm at each location.
