On your evening journey, witness Valletta's 16th-century structures illuminated in the dark and learn about Malta's history through an immersive show. See iconic landmarks in Mdina and Mosta in a fresh light.

Pickup from your hotel will bring you to Valletta, the capital of Malta and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Make your way through the city's impressive architecture, including fortifications and Baroque buildings from the 16th century, and admire the mysterious atmosphere they acquire at night. Catch sight of the Pinto and Forni Stores that line the Valletta Waterfront, and take note of their colourfully painted doors and windows, which represent the types of goods that were once sold there.

After your tour of the city, visit a theatre to experience the interactive Malta 5D show. This spectacle takes you on a journey through the country's history, immersing you completely with 3-D graphics, moving seats, and sprays of water and air. Next, drive to Mdina, also known as the “Silent City” due to its lack of cars. Take a walk around the town and visit the 13th-century Cathedral of Saint Paul, whose facade is beautifully illuminated to showcase its splendour.

Finally, head to the town of Mosta, which is home to the Rotunda of Mosta, the third-largest unsupported dome in the world. As you admire its illuminated neoclassical designs, learn about the miracle that occurred there during World War II when a bomb was dropped into the church but failed to detonate. After marvelling at the towering dome, make the drive back to your hotel.
