Leave a positive impact and make Mother Nature smile by participating in restoring one mile of the North Shore shoreline with a medley of native plants that prevent erosion and rebuild lost sand dunes. On your 45-minute tour, you and your family will learn about native shoreline plants, their intricate root systems, and how they symbiotically work together to make the perfect shoreline. You don't need any tools; garden gloves are provided.
The greenhouse is full of native plants; find your favourite plant, and your guide will tour the property with you and find a perfect home. We suggest you bring a hat, suntan lotion, and dark glasses.
This tour includes your family's admission to the “Meet the Farm Animals” programme. Meeting the Farm Animals programme is exciting and fun for kids and adults, allowing them to meet the tame and cute animals up close. The animals include sheep, goats, pigs, turtles, tortoises, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, mini-horses, puppies, and ducks. This programme makes for great family photos you will treasure forever.
