Activity itinerary

Atomium (Pass by)
The driving from Amsterdam to the Atomium is about 2.5 hours. The Atomium, a unique architectural landmark in Brussels, Belgium, was constructed for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair (Expo 58). Designed by engineer André Waterkeyn, its distinctive shape represents an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times, featuring nine interconnected stainless steel spheres arranged in a cubic unit cell. Standing 102 metres tall, the structure is both an engineering marvel and a symbol of scientific progress and modernity. Originally intended as a temporary exhibit, the Atomium's popularity ensured its preservation. Today, it serves as a museum and exhibition space, with five spheres open to the public. These spheres host various exhibitions and offer panoramic views of Brussels, combining educational content with stunning vistas.
