You’ll be picked up at your hotel in Interlaken for the short drive to the beautiful green lake of Brienz, where you'll visit the old fishing village of Iseltwald. Take a walk around the charming streets or relax at the lakeshore.

The next stop on your private full-day tour is at the Giessbach waterfalls. Walk under one of the 14 waterfalls, or If you prefer, you can relax at the garden terrace of the historic hotel, where you'll enjoy the views overlooking the lake and the waterfalls.

From Giessbach you’ll drive on to Brienz, or if you like, you can take a funicular ride and then a boat across the lake. In Brienz you'll enjoy a picnic lunch on the relaxing lake promenade before visiting the Brunngasse, the most beautiful alley in Europe. Admire the hundred-year-old chalets that line the streets in the village that seem to come right out of a fairy tale.

From the Brunngasse it's just a short walk to the most famous woodcarving school and museum, and the only place in Switzerland where you can buy a 100 per cent handmade cuckoo clock.

In the afternoon the alpine zoo awaits. Both old and young will enjoy feeding the mountain goats and the spectacular view over Brienz Lake.

The incredible Aare Gorge is the tour’s final highlight. You can take a walk through the gorge and then be picked up at the other end. Marvel at the power of the water from close up!

On your way back to Interlaken, you'll stop at Thoune Lake and see the charming little harbour. If you like you can take a boat back to Interlaken; otherwise you’ll continue on the drive back to your hotel.
