Þórsmörk is sometimes called Thor's valley, or Thor's forrest. It's a rugged valley surrounded by three glaciers and volcanoes, that offers some really dramatic landscape.
Eyjafjallajökull

Gígjökull is an outlet glacier from Eyjafjallajökull that drops down into the Þórsmörk area. we take a stop there and possibly a short hike with some local information about the eruption and the effects it had on the landscape surrounding us. Remaining time is for the travelling time and weather in Iceland is unpredictable and we might change our schedule accordingly.
