Overview

Visit the Platform 17 memorial in honour of Jews who were sent to Nazi extermination camps. See where the Wannsee Conference and the fate of Europe’s Jewish population was held.

Next, head to Cecilienhof Palace, where the Potsdam Conference of 1945 was held. It was here that the heads of state of the victorious Allies negotiated the future of defeated Nazi Germany. Head inside for a guided audio tour with included tickets.

See the Glienicke Bridge, also famously known as the “Bridge of Spies” (thanks to Steven Spielberg’s film of the same name).
Time permitting, you’ll also visit the non-natural hill of Teufelsberg, or Devil’s Mountain, where you can still the ruins of the huge US listening station that was here during the Cold War.
