Activity itinerary

Nasrid Palaces
  • 45m
  • Admission ticket included
The Nasrid Palaces, jewel of the Alhambra of Granada, are a set of palaces that combine art, history and symbolism. Built by the Nasrid dynasty between the 13th and 14th centuries, they stand out for their exquisite decoration in stuccoes, tiles and mocharabics, with poetic and geometric inscriptions that evoke the Islamic paradise. Its courtyards, like the Lions and Comares, reflect the harmony between water, light and architecture, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. This set is a masterpiece of Andalusian art, where every corner tells a storey of splendour and refinement
Palace of Carlos V
  • 15m
  • Admission ticket included
The Palace of Charles V, located in the Alhambra of Granada, is an imposing work of the Spanish Renaissance. Ordered built by Emperor Charles V in the 16th century, it breaks with the Islamic aesthetics of the enclosure with its monumental design and innovative circular plan within a square. Its carved stone facade and large central courtyard with columns evoke the classical grandeur of Rome. Although never inhabited by the Emperor, his presence symbolises imperial power and the transition between two architectural worlds: Nasrid splendour and Renaissance solemnity.
Alcazaba
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
The Alcazaba is the oldest fortress in the Alhambra and its defensive heart. Built in the 11th century and reinforced by the Nasrids in the 13th, it dominates Granada from its strategic position. With its imposing towers, such as the Vela, and its thick walls, it protected the Palatine city and served as a refuge in times of war. His remains still show the old distribution of military housing and the spirit of an impregnable fortress. From its battlements, the views of the city and Sierra Nevada recall its function as a sentry of the Nasrid kingdom.
Palacio El Partal
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
The Partal is one of the most evocative corners of the Alhambra, where architecture and nature merge in perfect harmony. Built in the early 14th century, this palace is the oldest of those preserved in the complex. Its most distinctive feature is the portico with five arches that is reflected in an elongated pond, creating an effect of serenity and beauty. Around it, the gardens, remains of noble houses and the Ladies Tower complete a landscape that transports visitors to the time of Nasrid splendour.
Generalife
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
The Generalife Palace, former recreational home of the Nasrid Sultans, is an oasis of peace in the Alhambra Hills. Built in the 13th century, it stands out for its lush gardens, courtyards with murmuring fountains and sober but elegant architecture. The Patio de la Acequia, with its central canal and water pumps, is its most emblematic space, where freshness and light create a dreamlike atmosphere. From its viewpoints, the views of the Alhambra and Granada reinforce its role as a haven of rest and contemplation, away from the bustle of the court.
