The Fishermen's Island, located in Lake Maggiore, is the smallest and only inhabited of the Borromean Islands. Featuring a picturesque fishing village, it boasts narrow alleys, traditional multi-storey houses with protruding balconies for drying fish, and a medieval church, San Vittore.
