Our experienced, local guide will take you to Sachsenhausen concentration camp, where you will learn about the atrocities of the Nazi regime, before driving you to Potsdam, the city of Kings, where you can see the lavish palaces of the Hohenzollern monarchy and the site of the Potsdam conference.
You will be picked up from your hotel, or a pre-arranged meeting point in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Your guide will share with you the history of Sachsenhausen, before walking you through the site.
In the afternoon, you will be transported to Potsdam, where you will drive across the ‘bridge of spies’ to explore the beautiful New Gardens and Marble Palace, the Cecilienhof Palace and the heart and soul of Potsdam – the Sanssouci Palace.
Please note: In Potsdam, tour is typically focused on outdoor experiences rather than interior visits. If you wish to visit any palace interiors, additional entrance fees will apply and must be arranged separately. Palace entry is subject to availability. Please note that your guide will not accompany you inside, and you’ll be provided with an audio guide.
At the end of the tour, your driver and guide will accompany you back to Berlin and drop you off at your hotel or a pre-arranged drop-off point.
