Our guide Joe was very knowledgeable about the Mancunian music scene and the history of many of the landmarks, along with a good sense of humour.

We booked last minute as the weather forecast wasn't great and there were only 4 other people braving it with us. We had a fantastic 3 hour walk with Joe and although our brollies went up a few times, it didn't hamper the experience. We discovered so much about Manchester's history and loads about it's music scene, visiting sites that were once important but sadly now closed down. Joe is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his city and this made the tour even more interesting. I'm so glad we booked and recommend this walking tour if you are in Manchester.

Joe was a very personable guide and tailored the tour specifically to our interests. There were only four people on this Sunday afternoon tour, and someone less professional might have just phoned it in, but Joe treated us exactly as he would a group of 20. He accommodated one of my specific requests even though it required a little extra work on his part. Overall, an excellent experience.

Il tour è bellissimo, scopri la città ma lo fai in maniera innovativa e divertente. La guida è istrionica e simpatica, parla un po veloce ma se parli un buon inglese capisci bene. Se ti piace il rock e’ il tour per te

Guides are nice but way too much walking and too fast. Doesn’t make it fun. Probably the most amount of walking I’ve done in a 2hr-3hr walking tour (around 18k steps). If you’re looking to exercise, this excursion is for you

Real good informative tour with some great anecdotes from Dave about his time around the music scene. Plenty of interesting stuff and how Manchester became the great city that it is. I grew up in Manchester and still found lots of new things about my home town. The only negative is that he is a united fan but I will let him off with that one. Manchester is Blue, top job 10/10
